Local troops complete military training

Navy Seaman Gabriel P. Donajkowski has completed U.S. Navy basic training at Recruit Training Command at Great Lakes, Ill.His eight-week training program included instruction in naval customs, first aid, firefighting, water safety and survival, shipboard and aircraft safety, and physical fitness.Donajkowski is a 2004 graduate of Northwest Pennsylvania Collegiate Academy and a 2008 graduate of Mercyhurst College.He is the son of Louanna and Roland Donajkowski, of Erie.
