Iowa Hawkeye freshman Melsahn Basabe has been extended an invitation to the U19 USA Basketball training camp at the U.S. Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Right now, the roster of invitations consists of 17 players, but the team that actually plays for Team USA will be cut to 12. The training camp runs from June 17-24 and the finalists for the team will announced on June 19. The actual 12-player roster will be announced prior to the teams' departure for Europe on June
