For me, and hopefully for my students, training is more than just the end result.
Training is about a relationship between you and your dog and the journey you take together.
When you teach your dog to respond to cues and signals using motivation, you create a bond. This bond is based on respect and understanding. If you understand what motivates dogs, you can use those things to reinforce the behaviors you want to cultivate.
